London calling
Headcorn is considered to be one of the best connected villages in the
Weald of Kent, with its own train station and travel times to London around
the magic hour mark. Direct routes to London Bridge (from 59 minutes),
Waterloo East, Charing Cross and Cannon Street bring the capital city to
the countryside doorstep, with valuable stops at Tonbridge and Sevenoaks
along the way.
Headcorn is also just 16 minutes by rail to Ashford International for the
high-speed line to St Pancras and the Eurostar, although stay on the train
and you’ll enjoy a journey through Kent’s picturesque countryside via
Canterbury, before arriving at Ramsgate, Dover or Folkestone – revived
coastline destinations with cult arts status.
Road connections from Headcorn are equally as effortless, with several
routes to Maidstone town centre taking around 25 minutes, and both the
M20 and A21 reachable in approximately half an hour.
